Daytona International Speedway is seeking the area's most talented singer to perform the National Anthem before more than 100,000 race fans and a national television audience prior to the Winn-Dixie 250 powered by Coca-Cola NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Friday night, July 4, 2008.

W.A.L.K AT VOLUSIA MALL
W.A.L.K is a FREE mall walking program in Daytona Beach brought
to you by Volusia Mall and Halifax Health. Walk stands for Work it off, Aim high, Learn, and Keep it up. This fun and educational mall walking program provides a safe and temperature-controlled environment
seven days a week, and monthly gatherings featuring a wide variety of healthcare topics. Walking logs will be provided for walkers and collected at the monthly meetings. Once a walker completes his/her first 25 miles, a free gift will be presented! Monthly W.A.L.K. gatherings are held the first Thursday of each month (excluding December) in the Volusia Mall Food Court at 9:00 am. Breakfast will be provided.
